Secondary school life
9:46 PM
Was bored so went back to blogging after a long period of time...
Last year was my last year in primary school and I really didn't want to leave the school and all my classmates and friends who were with me ever since primary 5. We've got a quite strong bond, so everybody really didn't want to progress to secondary school but we didn't have a choice.
When PSLE was nearing, of course, I felt a bit stressed as I have to study way more than any typical examination and did not have as much freedom as before. I studied ever since June, 3 months before PSLE, and I focused a lot on my weakest subject, Mathematics. Even though after all the hard work, my efforts did pay off, but not as well as I expected. Well, I expect this is life yeah?
During the last day of primary 6, we unwillingly bid goodbye to all of our classmates. As a memory, we wrote on each others' uniform with our well-wishes. I didn't get a lot of them as i had fallen out with my best friends and got only 3. Of course, I felt sad but I had to move on and lead my life. I made new friends, sure, but the best friends that had fallen out with me did not care.
I sometimes feel that I could not take it any longer and felt like breaking down so I sent them a private message saying that I want to get back with them. They didn't reply and I just decided to put the past behind me and live my life.
Results day came and we had to report back to school during the school holidays. I sat down nervously, waiting for our results to prevail. As time slowly tick by, I finally got my results and I scored 214, with grades of 3As and 1B. I felt a bit disappointed, but what's over was over.
I've progressed to secondary school, and I'm starting to get used to it after attending it for 5 months. I've made new friends and they're awesome. They bright up my life and we are very united. I remember on the first day, all the faces were foreign to me and we had an activity called "Human Bingo". I waited for people to approach me. I'm closer to them now. I like my class and we like to joke around. Even though we have annoyed our teachers and they've scolded us countless times, we still like them as they are our teachers and they also try their best in making the lesson fun.
Secondary school life is more hectic. We have to learn 8 subjects instead of just 4. The homework teachers gave were also a lot more than primary school and the teachers are stricter. Even with that, secondary school is fun.
My common tests were just over yesterday and I find them quite okay. Except for maths paper 2, which was quite hard. The setter, which was my maths teacher, said that half the class failed it so I expect the worse tomorrow when we get back our results.
I like the fact that we can go home after exams in secondary school , but I still prefer primary school though, haha. :) with such a long post, I'll end off now. :)

National Day Celebration
12:41 AM
Today was the National Day celebration in our school. It wasn't as fun as last year, but I don't know why.
It started off like any other day, as reporting time is the same. There is no change in assembly time too.
The celebration started at 7.30. It first started with the scouts and the boys' brigade who bought in the flags in and gave the prefects to hang the flags on the pole. We then sang the National Anthem and said the pledge. Then Mr Nair released the boys and Mr Effandi asked us to sing "My People, My Home" and said the recollections.
We then get to sit down and watched some things which I forgot. Then the first recess was held and we went to the canteen.

Learning Journey to Little India
10:57 PM
Just came back from Little India. Went there for almost 3h....9-12. So there's MT lesson as Friday's MT lesson is the first 2 periods, which is 1h. Then we went down to the arena to assemble before we leave the school. But we go to the canteen and have our recess first at 9:00. Teacher also reminded us to go to the toilet because at Little India there isn't any toilet so....after eating, we must assemble at the arena at 9.25. Then we were ready to set off.
The bus ride wasn't long. Soon, we reached Little India. We first saw the Tekka Market. And we went to a goldsmith shop and saw that they sold garlands. We had a little piece of paper to write down how many shops you saw. Different people were assigned to do different things. I was assigned to observe the garlands, goldsmiths and 2 more which I don't remember.
At around 12.30pm, we took the bus and went to school. We reach school at about 1+ and we went to the arena. And we went back home.

Trips...?
1:01 AM
Just went to see the doctor yesterday...my runny nose still haven't recovered. It's been a month already. Wonder what's wrong...Some more went to Chinese Doctor...:( Truth is the medicine is very bitter and I don't like it but seriously, who likes it?
A few days passed and my nose is getting better. But I really don't want to drink the medicine. Go on overseas still need to drink...but it's for my good. I also hate the mucus in my nose. It's coming out every second. CURSE YOU! Hope I get better. :D
Oh yeah, and it's 9th June! Time to celebrate! Ask me in my cbox. I don't wanna type it out. Short post, I know. Not much to write though. End here now. One more sentence: *BOYS AND GIRLS RULE!*

ICE AGE 3 WAS AWESOME! Nope, I did not watch it in the cinema. Guess what? My mother's friend just lent us the DVD of Ice Age 3. Just watched it yesterday. I like the middle part, where the baby dinosaurs came out from the egg. They were so CUTE! I didn't know which part was so touching that my brother cried. But it was quite nice.
Maybe you just have to watch it yourself.
Anyway, today's 4th June, right? The Nanjing participants finally came back. My two friends went there for 9 days, which is like 1 week and 2 days. I miss them. And finally
they are back! Welcome you guys back! Was the trip nice? By the way, Happy holidays.
Sigh...still doing research that my teacher gave us...Not a lot of homework but need to do 3 project individual research and the Anti-Drug ambassador. Need to revise Maths too...I am still wondering who's my Mother tongue teacher for the rest of the year...
I'm gonna stop here now, Happy holidays, you guys! =D
P.S Those who have my number, please be informed that I will be going overseas from 12-15 June, so please do not call me. Thanks. =D

Listening Comprehension
11:06 PM
Today, we just had Listening Comprehension. We had Mother Tongue LC first because our first lesson for P5 only is MT so...
I think there was a total of 10 or 15 questions for MT. The questions in front was easy until the second page there was a question that two options were very close. We spent the whole period doing LC which is about 1h.
EL LC was at 11:15. There were a total of 20 questions. Yeah, like any other, for P5s we need to do everything on the OAS. But at least I bought 2B pencils. So before it started, we actually put our bags at the back of the classroom and put them according to the places we sat. Q19 was a bit tricky but I put option 2, which is Saturday. Normally my first answers are correct so I promised that I will not change the answer. But if it really looks wrong, I change. I hope I get it correct.
Nervous about my compo results because I know I'm not going to score well. But, one thing is for sure, I will pass.
Oral is next Tuesday and I am like so nervous...I know I have been through like about 8 times for Oral, but you know, every year would be different. I hope I get marks that I expected for SA1. I know it's hard to improve, but I will try. That's about all for today. So, yeah, BYE. :D And oh yeah, wish all of you good luck for SA1, try your best and never give up!
