Secondary school life
9:46 PM

Was bored so went back to blogging after a long period of time...

Last year was my last year in primary school and I really didn't want to leave the school and all my classmates and friends who were with me ever since primary 5. We've got a quite strong bond, so everybody really didn't want to progress to secondary school but we didn't have a choice.

When PSLE was nearing, of course, I felt a bit stressed as I have to study way more than any typical examination and did not have as much freedom as before. I studied ever since June, 3 months before PSLE, and I focused a lot on my weakest subject, Mathematics. Even though after all the hard work, my efforts did pay off, but not as well as I expected. Well, I expect this is life yeah?

During the last day of primary 6, we unwillingly bid goodbye to all of our classmates. As a memory, we wrote on each others' uniform with our well-wishes. I didn't get a lot of them as i had fallen out with my best friends and got only 3. Of course, I felt sad but I had to move on and lead my life. I made new friends, sure, but the best friends that had fallen out with me did not care.

I sometimes feel that I could not take it any longer and felt like breaking down so I sent them a private message saying that I want to get back with them. They didn't reply and I just decided to put the past behind me and live my life.

Results day came and we had to report back to school during the school holidays. I sat down nervously, waiting for our results to prevail. As time slowly tick by, I finally got my results and I scored 214, with grades of 3As and 1B. I felt a bit disappointed, but what's over was over.

I've progressed to secondary school, and I'm starting to get used to it after attending it for 5 months. I've made new friends and they're awesome. They bright up my life and we are very united. I remember on the first day, all the faces were foreign to me and we had an activity called "Human Bingo". I waited for people to approach me. I'm closer to them now. I like my class and we like to joke around. Even though we have annoyed our teachers and they've scolded us countless times, we still like them as they are our teachers and they also try their best in making the lesson fun.

Secondary school life is more hectic. We have to learn 8 subjects instead of just 4. The homework teachers gave were also a lot more than primary school and the teachers are stricter. Even with that, secondary school is fun.

My common tests were just over yesterday and I find them quite okay. Except for maths paper 2, which was quite hard. The setter, which was my maths teacher, said that half the class failed it so I expect the worse tomorrow when we get back our results.

I like the fact that we can go home after exams in secondary school , but I still prefer primary school though, haha. :) with such a long post, I'll end off now. :)
